Excellent steak fajitas!

Wow I was highly impressed on how good and flavorful the food was I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants some real authentic Mexican food. The one thing I would change is the seat yourself have the server seat people so it's a little less hectic in the restaurant. However the steak taco and ground beef I ordered was very very good keep up the great food also a very friendly staff.

This is a staple in our family and I would eat here every day if I could! Wonderful margaritas and too many great options to name on the menu.

I love this place and I have been coming here for years. They never disappoint.

This is good Mexican food, especially for the area. They used to be attached to a grocery store, which has recently moved across the street. There is apparently outdoor seating in back, but I've never used it.My favorite is the grilled chicken taco plate, although the pork tacos are also very good.

La Mexicana is awesome. Very tasty. Very reasonably priced. No waiting..I say, try it. You'll think you found the next great thing. And... you will have.

Great Mexican food, with friendly service, and a clean environment. If you want authentic, I recommend making a trip to Sauk City and stopping in. Love their tacos!

Very happy about how I was respected by the employees, and the food that we ordered was delicious, well presented, and the price was amazing, especially for what was given to us. I will definitely be returning numerous times for the wonderful service and quality food that I was given.

I have been here on other occasions when food was even better. Service was exceptional today refills on salsa and chips, salsa is delicious. The kitchen was out of shredded beef and pork so the choices were somewhat limited. Food arrived quickly and hot.

Normally I LOVE this place. My family ordered togo on wednesday night. I know they were busy so even when they told me 25 mins until ready I expected a little extra time. When my brother got there they guy was EXTREMELY rude after he told my brother that the ticket had not even made it to the kitchen! Now, ok, I get mistakes happen. What set me off was the fact that the guy working was so unprofessional and rude and SWORE at my brother! Anyone who has ever worked in the restaurant industry knows you do not swear at a customer. And....its common courtesy!!! There was no discount given or apology nothing! Oh...and one of the persons food was wrong but we said w.e. with it and ate it anyways. We will NOT be ordering from them for a while.

Okay, not bad just woudn't seek it out again of outstanding food. Servers are very nice and really wish they had directed us to out door patio but the River, would have made a difference.
